Common Ground Mental Health Center : "Helping People Move From Crisis to Hope"

Common Ground, a nonprofit agency, has been helping people in need for more than 40 years.  With a core purpose of “Helping People Move from Crisis to Hope,” Common Ground is dedicated to helping youths, adults and families in crisis.  The agency’s programs provide services in three distinct impact areas.

First, responding to crisis-the agency provides 24-hour crisis telephone and face to face crisis intervention, 24-hour psychiatric emergency services and free legal services.

Second, providing safety and advocacy-the agency provides shelter and graduated apartment support for runaway and homeless youth, intervention for victims of crime and street outreach for youth living on the streets of our communities.

Third, building communities of support-the agency provides ongoing support groups and education for survivors of suicide, survivors of homicide, adolescent girls surviving sexual assault, domestic violence survivors and classes for parents of teens.
